Company Sveča d.o.o. is a private company founded in June 1990. Founders are Peter Stanko and Ivanka from Pobrežje 6a. The purpose of founding the company was the production of candles. Now we produce memorial candles, household candles, decorative candles and candles made to order. The beginning of the production was difficult with only one employee.

Production began in the basement of residential premises. Already at the beginning there was a need for a bigger work place. Later we built new workshops but through the period of 16 years we have built 3.000 m2 of working space for production, administration and industrial shop.
Because of increased production also the employment of new workers took place and now we employ 15 people in our company.

Requirements on the market have forced the company to instantly invest into development of machinery which enables us to work more than 1.000 tons of paraffin into candles per year. The result of such production is trust of our customers mainly from northeastern part of Slovenia.
The competition on the market is always increasing; therefore, we have decided to expand our production; now we also produce plastic pots for candles.

In our company we are aware of the importance of instant investing to stay competitive on the market and therefore we will try to keep our workplaces or even increase them.
